New Website Launches to Promote the Four States Region

Interactive map center featured on the site

Texarkana, AR-TX, 1BMarch 8, 2017– TexAmericas Center, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas, is proud to announce the launch of the new fourstatesregionalpartnership.com. The site highlights the many ways to live, work, and grow in the Four States Region. The website was developed by The World Economic Development Alliance (WEDA) through funding provided by the Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) Grant that Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas (WSNET) received in 2016.

The development of the new regional website was a direct result of the communications objective laid out in the OEA grant. The fourstatesregionalpartnership.com not only allows users to receive access to the reports published from the grant’s activities, but it also acts as a community development tool to promote the region and its many attractive qualities. Features include:
• Interactive Map Center
• News Module
• Easy access to information on major employers, higher education, and local communities
• Events Calendar

TexAmericas Center and Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas encourage community members, area leaders, and local city, county, and municipal officials to reach out if there is important information that the website should include. The site also features a submission form under the “Contact Us” menu item for people to submit citizen testimonials, news sources, events, and other important regional information to be included on the website.

“One of the main goals for this OEA grant is to communicate the results of the regional studies to the community stakeholders, which includes: regional economic development organization alignment session, workforce needs and alignment, and targeted industry analysis of the region. The fourstatesregionalpartnership.com site allows us to do this and to simultaneously market what makes our region attractive to potential businesses and future residents.” Scott Norton, CEO/Executive Director of TexAmericas Center

World Economic Development Alliance, headquartered in Dallas, offers over 20+ years of experience and knowledge in the economic development and communications design industries. WEDA helps communities across the US to connect with economic development opportunities through consulting services, web site development, lead nurturing, promotional videos, and a host of other services. For the fourstatesregionalpartnership.com site, WEDA’s team was able to utilize their intricate design experience to create an interactive map center that allows users to explore the region’s assets— from highlighting the region’s central location in proximity to major markets to the quality of life available with 6 state parks and 11 higher education institutions located in the area.

“WEDA is excited to promote the FourStatesRegionalPartnership.com as a user-friendly, interactive website. We worked hand-in-hand with the TexAmericas Center staff to design the website and modules to communicate the goals of the OEA grant and highlight what makes the region so attractive! This site has excellent potential to develop and expand into a central web location that local community officials and leaders can utilize for economic and community development activities. ” Jason Lemle, Vice President of Business Development, World Economic Development Alliance

About TexAmericas Center
Located in the Texarkana metropolitan area, TexAmericas Center owns and operates one of the largest mixed use industrial parks in the United States. With roughly 12,000 development ready acres of land and about 3 million square feet of commercial and industrial product, TexAmericas Center services the four states (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas) markets. Texas is the #1 state for business in the United States of America because of its regulatory environment, tax policies, and workforce quality along with exceptional educational resources, infrastructure, and quality of living. Founded in 1997, TexAmericas Center has the operating capabilities of a municipality but functions more like a traditional real estate development company, offering customized real estate solutions. In addition to controlling our own zoning and permitting processes and sustaining the life cycle of public infrastructure on the complex, TAC has the capability to lease, build-to-suit, or facilitate Greenfield owner-constructed projects in a timely and efficient manner. At TAC, we streamline leasing and manage government development processes all through a single point of contact. Our customers benefit from faster market entry by resolving zoning, permitting, inspection, and state and local incentive programs solely through our organization. Additionally, the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) designated a 101 acre site on TexAmericas Center’s central campus as the first S.T.A.R. Site in Texas (Sites That Are Ready for construction to begin), advancing speed to market for our customers. Tenants of TexAmericas Center tend to be private business owners and corporations seeking flexible and cost effective space solutions.
